Add me to the Glock lover list. I have high end 1911's and an HK compact but my new glock for some reason gets me all excited. Something about these suckers and their reputation that makes you feel like you have a "real" gun that has proven itself. No running 1k rounds for break in and saying that when your gun chokes it is in a break in period etc. It just flat runs on day one no matter what you give it.

There are RTF2 and RTF3 frames coming out. These have rough surfaces to allow for a better grip. I personally find the RTF3 too abrasive to use without gloves.

There's been rumors of a true 'gen 4' glock with interchangable back straps, but so far they're just rumors.

I spoke with a glock rep and he confirmed it but... he said there are no dates for them yet.

I wonder if the new backstrap feature would deem the Gen4 Glocks not approved for California? Does anyone know?

It's a new frame which means it's a new gun which means it will have to have loaded chamber indicator and mag disconnect and brand new tests....
