Talking Oops I Did It Again...

...I took delivery of my brand spankin new Kimber Ultra CDP II. I have Kimberitis! I need to go to a KA (Kimbers Anonymous) meeting! LoL! It feels great and carries very comfortably. I cannot wait until I test it out this week. Any holster recommendations for this? I will be normally carrying this while wearing slacks, dress shirt, and sometimes, a suit coat.

Here are a couple of pics of the new one! Enjoy!

No my son.. you do not need to go to a meeting... The Gimper has mentored me well.... give in to the Dark Slide...become one with your inner 1911... buy stuff... you have Gear Acquistion Syndrome... there is no cure... simply decide to work your budget to buy more guns.. it is inevitable that your Kimber will need more kimbers... or other 1911's or it will feel lonely... my Ultra Carry II has a custom commander, a Springfield govt. model and a Para LDA to keep it company...we cannot have our 1911's getting lonely... there is some law against it... or so I have HEARD!.... that's the word on the street...umm.. range anyway...

PS.. the little Kimber gets carried in a pocket holster most of the time ... or in a threatsolutions.com IWB

CONGRATS! You picked up a GREAT new firearm. enjoy it

As for IWB holster. I recommend Milt Sparks or TTGunleather. The're TONS of threads around on those two holsters.

WOW. . .CDP in a pocket holster. Cargo pants?

Default Nice heater...

I picked up a spankin' new Ultra CDP II a couple of weeks ago. Now I've spanked 600 rounds thru it with not a single mis-feed or any other problem. It shoots great, is sexy as all get-out, and quickly became my fovorite hand gun. Congratulations on a good purchase.

Congradts.

I carry my Ultra CDP in a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2, IWB. Extremely comfortable and supports the Kimber very well. I've used it for about a year now, every other day, and it has shown little wear.

Yep... woolrich cargo shorts and pants... now that I've lost a few pounds they are even baggier... lots of places to hide guns.... once fooled a class of officers... they only saw the Glock on the hip... had model 22 glocks in numerous pockets... ... felt like that video of the kid who just keeps pullin' guns outa places....

KimberDude, there is only one thing that you can do now:

12 step Kimberitis cure:

1. Buy ammo
2. Go to the range of your choice
3. Buy targets
4. Put on your eyes and ears
5. Hang target
6. Remove Kimber from case
7. Load magazines
8. Insert magazines
9. Chamber first round
10. Aim
11. Fire.
12. Repeat steps 7-11 as long as you still have ammo

Then there is Step 12.1a - buy another 1911.....

Congrats on your new purchase. I love my Kimber and don't leave home without it! If you like Kydex, I'd recommend the Comp-Tac CTAC. I prefer the C-clips over the standard or J-clips. The velcro clips would be nice, but you should have the velcro sewn in to the belt you plan to wear. For me, that limits my carrying ability when my wardrobe changes.
