I just got back from shooting my new M&P 40C. Funny thing is I seem to shoot better...or at least as good without the mag grip extension. Maybe it is because I am used to my Glock 26. But actually I think the larger the hands the better.
My pinky wraps around the bottom of the mag perfectly and is very comfortable. I loved it!! I bet you will love the 40 full size too! Congrats and nice choice!! BTW I thought the recoil felt less than the 9mm Glock 26. I shot them back to back all day for comparison. I was shocked. Tomorrow another 300 rounds through it. ![]() |

I have not shot either the 9 or 40 full size M&Ps. Though I got to shoot the 45. Love it too. From what you said it makes me want to shoot both the 40 and 9 full size M&Ps.
Only thing I can think of is the grip angle on the M&P verse the Glock when comparing the G26 to the M&P40C. BTW I shot the Glock 27 "40S&W" before I bought my 26. I thought it had WAY more recoil and snap to it. That is why I went with the Glock 26 to begin with. |

WOW! You shot a M&P 45? They are so new, that is rare!
