Default Will you change what you carry?

Now that firearms owners got a positive ruleing, and there is a good chance that the 10 round mag limit will be overturned, will you carry a firearm that will hold more than 10 rounds?

Probably not, since I carry a 45 and it only takes one good shot ...

Same with me. If I need more than 10+1 in 45 ACP. I'm in the wrong place at the wrong time.

So CCWI what are you carrying that holds 10+? If is is a single stack I found those to print too much with a 10 round mag?

I like the set up that I have now. But there is always the possibilty that I will change the pistols but not the caliber.

There are 10 round magazines for the O frame that can be carried as the spare. Your 7 or 8 round mags are carried in the pistol depending upon your choice.

Are we really going to be able to get standard cap mags in CA?

If so how long? Any thoughts?

I think eventually, Yeah....

You can already OWN a gun that holds hi cap mags, thus its "a weapon typically possessed by law abiding citizens for lawful purposes in common use at the time" (BTW, I believe this is the BEST distillation of the "Heller Standard" that I have seen.) Thus handguns regardless of their capacity should be allowed.... Its going to be a FIGHT though.

I have seen it and it's not a single stack and I don't believe it's his primary CCW.

But no I will not change what I carry. I have gone through pretty good links to figure out what I prefer. No 10+ capacity firearm made the cut.

Way to go. You didn't call it a high cap mag. You called it what it is; a standard capacity magazine. The rest are restricted capacity magazines.

I doubt I will make any major changes either.

I have carried large capacity double stack pistols extensivly in the past. However, I am very comfortable with single stack 1911 pattern .45 caliber pistols now.

Prior to my "Kimber Conversion" my primary carry for many years was two S&W J-Frame revolvers. Large capacity onboard ammunition storage has never been a major factor in my choice of personal handgun selection.

Thanks,

Para P10-45 Limited Edition. My second primary. Or as I call it, my LA gun.
