Well... a deep subject I am sure...
I was in the OC today and stopped by Pro-Force.. they had the govt sized SIS with the rail... held it... one heavy gun compared to the lightweigt ultra... then looked at an alloy framed kimber tac II or some such name... now that one was light.... makes a man think the SIS would be a joy to shoot but typical govt. to carry... hmmmmmmmmmm - is it anymore accurate than the regular Kimbers?

I looke at a full size last week. I really like the finish. Did not handle it, so I cant comment on the feel.
I am with X on the rear sight. I really like that blocky design and see how it can make a big difference in one-handed manipulation. |

Though I have not seen or shot one I would agree with Female Instructor and stick with the CDP for carry.

One of those squared sights could come in very, very handy with single handed cocking, and even more so if you utilize a FLGR. I, however, do not.

The sight should, in IMHO..., be on all of the kimbers... the kimber factory sight is kinda UGLY... but that is a subjective thing... ugly is as ugly does after all... ![]()
