Enjoy that kimber, El Gato! I can't get enough of shooting my Ultra CDP II or Warrior. Makes ****ty shooters like me look good.

Fortunately for me... SWMBO is distracted at present... her when we went to the SHOT Show, the Kahr people talked to her at great length and offered her a deal on any two guns.. her PMP 9mm and PM 45 (is that the real model numbers? I forget) or whatever guns came in within days of us doing the STUPID WAITING PERIOD.... fortunately for me, I am LEO and can buy more than one gun month so the Kimber is registered to me... which has never stopped her from taking anything by the way.... so while she is distracted, I will be sneaking it out to the range tommorrow for a little workout... I have to drift the front sight a little anyway... just a smidge... Mayhaps I can "disappear" the gun for a little while?.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... HE LAUGHS MANIACALLY...I am still not convinced the little itty bitty thingee is better than a govt. model... but I have been caught recently looking at the airweight kimber govts..... hmmmmm

Here is the plan... she gets the Kimber back when she posts a range report on that little Kahr 45 and 9mm... whatcha think?

I think you are having fun!!!!! Don't get in trouble.

IIRC the PM9mm has a stiff little kick.

Shot it two weekends ago with frangible... no recoil... accurate... was hitting my 8 in. Evil Roy practice target at 16 yards real regular like...now if I put cor-bon in it I believe it might kick just a bit... ya think?
The P45 is sitting on the desk with me... talk about a nice double action trigger... not the kimber mind you... but very small too and very very thin for a 45 acp...

Hey, man. Stop now! Get rid of that stinky old Kimber before you get in too deep and before it's too late. Turn back while you can.

Look, I wouldn't do this for just anyone... But since you're a forum member, and, since I try to look out for my CalCCW buddies, I'll help you get this Kimber monkey off your back.

I'll take the gun off your hands, and give you a little walking around money to help you get back on your feet. How bout, say, $150.00? Oh, heck, I can't low ball a brother... Make it an even $160 and call it a deal.

Hey, no need to thank me... I'd do the same for any member... Hey, that's just the kind of guy I am...

Now, where should be meet to PPT that bad boy?

OK... I'm SOOOOO OVER... the selling the springfield Loaded model idea... done...fini...etc..... I might just give it to my oldest son though...

So if I like the lightweight govt. frame guns...... and I like the Kimber grade or better... what else is out there?
Does wilson make a lightweight gun?
As a LEO I can get a caspian titanium frame gun and build one... expensive but I could....
Smith has a lightweight gun but I have never heard anything about their 45 govts... good or bad.... and they have an external extractor... that's kinda like breaking one of the big 10 commandments ain't it? I mean Kimber tried that and got spanked big time...

Any suggestions?
