Thanks, I didn't know about that web page. Unfortunately the G30SF is not on the list. I did see the G21SF so maybe they're just waiting for the paperwork to go through.

I am sure the G30SF will be on the list soon. I like the G21SF it feels similar to my Springfield XD 45. I liked the angled grip similar to a 1911 and the slimmer frame fit my hand better. I have considered the G30SF for it's sub-compact size.

While I don't have any inside knowledge of the G30SF, I do know the G21SF made it on the list by the thinnest of margins, and via an exception to the normal rules. It's not at all a given that the G30SF would make it under the same exceptions.

I have the inside knowledge. The G21SF original was easy to get approved. I held the G30SF on Friday. It will be approved in the configuration I shoot.

Be patience. . . .

Ah, so it was just the picatinny and ambi versions of the G21SF that had trouble with the exception. Got it.

Yes, exactly. From my understanding.

I just got off the phone with a customer service rep. from Glock, she said that the 30SF has already been submitted to the CA DOJ and it is expected to be approved.

My main concern about the G30SF is that it's real blocky...very wide in the slide. It will be like carrying a brick in your waistband if you're gonna carry IWB.

It's not that bad. I carry a regular G30 sometimes. You do need pants that fit the right way though - in tight jeans it's not great.

I was mostly concerned about printing in my spandex.
