I have the Ultra CDP II and have put 500 rounds through it with zero FTF/FTEs using the stock mag. I did buy two Wilson mags but have not used them yet. The first 300 rounds, I only put five rounds in the mag, the last 200 were with full mags. I also have the Pro Carry II with the stock mag and have not had any issues there either, but only about 200 rounds through it, but it was purchased used and was already broken in.

RAD-G27,

Do you find the accuracy of this gun to be good as well?

Extremely accurate. I was shooting fairly quickly for the breakin just to get through the initial 500 rounds. At 25 feet I had a two inch hole in the center of the target after 50 rounds. Very few outside the 9 ring. I love the Meprolight Tritium 3-dot night sight. My Pro Carry II does not have them and I find it to be less accurate even with the 4" barrel.

Excellent! Thanks for that insight. I may be in the market for a new Kimber!

Ever since I got the Wilson mags for mine, I have not had any issues. Easily as accurate as full frame.

CCWI, what was the model number again on the Wilson mags for the Ultra CDP II? I want to make sure that I have the correct ones. Also for the Pro Carry II. Thanks

Any 7 rounder for the compacts, they make them in black or stainless.

The Wilsons seem expensive but I have had cheap mags literally come apart while shooting, springs, bullets, follower flying all over the place...the Wilsons are worth the money. I won't even use the cheap mags for the range.
