Default Para-Ordnance PXT Hawg Pistols

I was wondering of any of you have put hands on or sent lead downrange on the 10+1 micro 45 Para-Ordnance gun?

I imagine it's fat aorund the waist, but by how much? Having +3 might be worth it? I wonder about the double stack mag and 45ACP, the large diameter is going to present more surface area to the wall of the mags and increase the need for spring effort.

I have both a NiteHawg (the mini-45, 10+1 rounds) and the Carry 12 (also 10+1). I like both a lot. Accurate, but not as accurate as my Kimbers. They are stouter in the grip, being a double stack, and heavier as well. But all in all, nice guns.

i have one as well, and ususally use it when i have to tuck my shirt.

not as accurate as larger guns, but the compromise is definately worth it for the high capicty and size of this little performer...

i replaced the grip with a hogue like in your picture, and couldn't be happier. it got rid of some of the rattles i noticed before..

Thanks for the feedback guys, it's much appreciated!
  • Any trouble feeding from a double stack (Would you say they feed reliably)?
  • How much wider are they than your plain jane 1911?

They are significantly wider. Ask Greg to see his when he is back in town.

I'm sure this is a wonderful firearm... it's certainly a 1 shot firearm...but here's a question.

Could it be be made SMALLER so that a follow-on shot might be even MORE likely to miss?

I really love mine and have had no issues with it.

Ok, now for the scary part. That is an Airsoft Pistol and the rail actually accepts my SureFire that is normally found hung under my real H&K pistol

I got a Warthog... a few ftf within first 50 rounds (I think mainly do to the reloads I was using). Got over 1K rounds through my Warthog now and no ftfs thus far. The mag feeds without any issue.
