Talk about a self-fulfilling prophecy -- it's two L's...

Today I finally picked up a .40 brass, and tried it on the bolt face of my 9mm P239. You can put to bed the idea of a kit that can convert a 9mm to a .40 or .357 Sig. Downward, sure. Upward, noooope.

While I'm at it, I was wrong re: the external dimensions of .40 and .357 Sig being slightly larger than the 9mm. They're identical.

But, hey, I never did claim perfection.

You really can't go wrong buying a Sig. I have 4 of them, (P232, P2340, P220, and an old P226 in 9mm). All are great pistols. Durable, accurate, and dependable..."to hell & back reliability" is their motto.

I haven't shot a P239 yet, but can't imagine it could be any different or worse than another Sig.

I just got my SW MP 40 and it rocks. Now I've considered the Sig, but wow this thing could double as a steel brick. I do like the sigs though, just not this one especially since I'm so use to the weight of the glock or m & P. Just my opinion
