Default Anyone have an EMP?

Hello all. I'm still fairly new here but it's been one of my best decisions to join. I was wondering if anyone else carried a Springfield 9mm EMP. I just wanted to know how you carried it and what kind of ammo you found works best. I purchased a Galco Quick Slide that I'm planning to wear more to the rear of my hip instead of the side. I'm also going to purchase the M-Tac holster for deeper concealment and another kytex frame for the same M-Tac for my Walther P99. I was looking at the Safari horizantal magazine holster for my extra mag. Any opinions or suggestions from anyone would be much appreciated.

As far as horizontal holsters for the mags, I like the Blade-Tech single mag pouch with the Tek-Lok. It can be adjusted to carry in horizontal mode.

Man, for a second there I thought you were asking about an electro magnetic pulse weapon, and my answer is "Sure!

But then I figured out you were talking about a pistol, so no.

That was the first thing I thought of too. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I fondled the "old" EMP and the new .40 EMP. I liked the original 9mm a lot, which means I liked the .40 since they are almost identical. I want to get me one of those 9s. That is a sweet little gun.

Hey Dan,

Where did you see and handle the .40 EMP? How long ago did you see it?

I have a 9mm EMP and have been waiting for the .40 version to come out. I actually checked Springfield's site again a few days ago and didn't see anything regarding the .40 being available.

Thanks in advance!

-Chris

I saw it on the Springfield website. Looks just like the 9mm EMP. I wonder what kind of a snap that .40 will give with that 3inch barrel.

I confidently predict it'll be less than the Kahr PM40, probably more like the Glock 27 or a little less, owing to the weight.
