Some people think they are the best thing since sliced bread . Other people think the first group of people are crazy for carrying a loaded pistol pointed at "the boys" . I have never tried one and still haven't decided if I would be comfortable with it. They do seem to conceal very well though.
Just another option.

I know about them pesky kids, at that age range they are all hug ninjas , when you least expect it...
Problem is, at that age, I've known quite a few of them to want to punch you in the "SmartCarry"... That would be a PRICELESS expression as they walk away rubbing their fist. LOLOL

A good tuckable holster might do it as well. I've carried my H&K USPc while wearing a shirt and tie. No one noticed. Unless they tackle you and try and rip your shirt open.

Best option I've seen though is pocket carry.

I THINK (not sure) that your build really comes into play on the tuckables... My tubby body is definitely NOT built for them to be used at max effectiveness.

This would be an excellent situation for a wallet holster.......

Oh wait

I checked out the Beretta Tomcat today. They make it in a .32. I might go that direction. Like the guy behind the counter said, anything that small is a belly gun, I don’t plan on holding back Red Dawn, but at least I have something.

The ankle thing is a good idea, unless it turns into a "quitter" (reference Pee Wee Herman). I still like the wallet holster, especially for the Tomcat. I'm not teaching the WWF or a football team, so I don’t think I have to worry about in-prompt-to wrestling matches breaking out, but stranger things have happened. I have been doing this for 4 years now, and have seen a lot and learned a lot about my friends families(4yo kids talk a lot).

I've worked both in the classroom with 10 year olds and at church with a S&W 642 with 38 +p loads, pocket carry and IWB as long as you leave the stock grips on it's very comfortable to pocket carry. Ankle is awful slow on the draw? A great third gun on the permit for those situations.

I've had the seam of the left leg of my jeans opened up to the knew and a velcro strip put in for ankle carry. That way, if I have to draw that gun, access to it is very quick. Although this probably wouldn't work for his situation at church (or for dress slacks).

Alessi Bodyguard or Fieldmaster under your shirt. No one will guess you're packing. For quick access you can leave a couple buttons undone - your tie will hide this.

This way you don't have to carry one of those little tiny guns that I don't like.

I pack my full-size 1911 everywhere I go (disclaimer: when it's legal to do so.) I won't downsize my pistol for convenience when there are holsters that will conceal it.

p.s. Never hand your loaded 1911 to a friend. He might drop it.

Try working with the Special Needs kids...

My wifes been doing that for 8 years...been offered leadership rolls, but she turns them down because it would take her out of the classroom.

DO NOT get one that allows you to fire the gun from the holster. Your breaking federal law if you. Cops have gotten arrested for that.

works well for me; I can carry my little 9mm RAMI or my HK USP45 using the same holster,Pastor and a few others know I'm all dressed up; whether I'm in a suit, dressy casual, or really casual.

How do you fit the Desert Eagle in your boot?
