Default Para PDA
Is it likely that this new gun will be available in California? The Ruger SR9 is taking a while.

Did you mean LDA? I have never heard of a PDA by Para unless it's new and is coming out.

Who knows? I don't hold out a lot of hope that manufacturers will go through the hassles of getting their guns CA approved for the civilian market anymore. It's not like we're making it any easier. If it doesn't have a magazine disconnect, and now, cartridge microstamping ability, it won't be able to be approved here.

The gun does not appear to have a mag disconnect safety. If that is the case, it cannot be approved in California unless they can make a similarity claim to an existing approved pistol.

Of course, we're not privy to the marketing decisions at Para. You might want to email them and ask if they have any plans to try to get it CA approved.

It's a Para, but with the Windows Mobile OS

No wonder, my blackberry wouldn't allow me to view it.


Bummer that Para doesn't make the proper modifications to make the gun meet CA DOJ specifications.

i couldn't find it 1st time around either. On the Main Para page. Its a small box in the lower right hand corner with pictue of ammo that says something like "Coming Soon...The New PDA"
