It is on my wishlist. From everything I've read it is a great gun (at least in 9mm, the early .40s had problems). I really wish I could handle one but I haven't seen one in a shop or at the range. Maybe I don't want to touch one as that might seal my fate.

If I didn't already have an EMP on order I'd have a RAMI now.

If I do end up getting one I'll be sure and post a range report.

I love my 45s but the cost of ammo is killing me.

Yeah, cost of ammo........Look but don't touch. I agree, 9mm will look better for range guns in the future!
Dollar devaluation + increased cost = Inflation!
Salary increases are non existent, and if there are any, they will say that it adds to inflation. You lose either way!.

it looks great! a mini version of the CZ75. I have a CZ75, terrific gun. I am finally beginning to appreciate how accurate it is.

My only beef with this type of gun is the lack of a grip safety, also the trigger is a pivot hinge type of arrangement, unlike the 1911 straight pull I am more used to.

CZ is a huge maker of handguns and rifles, mostly in Europe. They are not beginners. They make solid very reasonably price products. Somebody once told me that their prices are much lower in the US compared to Europe, as they are trying to gain market share.

Well, I was looking at getting it in .40, but I'm thinking maybe 9mm. The other thing that makes me hesitate is with it being about the same size as a para, maybe I should just stick with .45

Cz-75b the most cloned gun in the world! Why, because they are so good.
I have had them in several models, even "The Witness" gun, an excellent, economical clone. They were all super reliable and accurate.
CZ has a new gun the P01, in 9mm, the new NATO side arm.

Default CZ 2075 RAMI 9mm

I have one for a BUG on my CCW and also a CZ75 SP01 9mm to carry just in case my HK Expert 45 needs to go somewhere for service or?? Both CZ's are very good; please note that my RAMI has dual recoil springs like my HK; very easy to shoot one handed; two handed; point shoot/no sights....sometimes I'll carry it when I need something smaller than the expert ;;;of course the HK USP45 Expert is my first choice; it's also used in IDPA.

Actually, it looks like a clone of a Browning Hi Power

So, regarding the Rami, would the consensus be 9mm or .40 cal?

Sens shot my CZ75B tonight at the range, I am in awe at his skill, first time with that gun and he was shooting a quarter sized group, very impressive shooting.

I wasn't THAT good.

I'd forgotten what it's like to shoot a gun that doesn't break it's sight picture.

I'm pretty convinced I should get the RAMI now...yeah...after all the bitching I did about 9mm's and bad guys foreheads...I think this would be good for a "coastal" gun, or for when a shotgun or rifle is close by.

Default If you need to fondle something...

I was just over at Ade's and he had a RAMI for around $555.

I really liked the feel, although the controls were a little difficult to operate.

Even though I have small hands my pinky just wouldn't fit. Luckily some very determined fellow figured out that with a little bit of work you could put a Pearce extension (from the XD) on the mag.

Before:

After:

Let's revisit the RAMI and Pearce Springfield XD extension. - THR
