I have a Kimber Tactical Custom II and an HK USP45. I loke the HK more than anything but it is too big to carry. The Kimber trigger bites my finger with the little trigger set hole. the HK is ten rounds and I can fire it comfortably all day long.

When I got for a walk I carry a 30-30, we have a mountain lion around here somewhere and my Scottie is not going to be bait.

Well I just got back from a 475 mile trip to do the trade. The HK will go out in the mail Tuesday to my local FFL so I don't have to do the trip again. Then my 10 day wait will start after I do some more paper work up here. It would have been nice to just hand each other our guns and drive away but I guess I can wait.

Well it came with a comp-tac holster but I am not to sure about it though. I liked my crossbreed because it had that big slab of leather on it to spread out the pressure against your body. The comp-tac is just a hard piece of kydex only as big as the gun and a little strip of leather on each end, so I am sure it will have alot of pressure in that little area pushing against your body. I like the half kydex half leather not all kydex So I will most likely be looking at crossbreed again unless I can find a holster for the HK with a flashlight because I am already looking at getting a flashlight for it

I don't know why more people dont recommend or consider Sig's. I love my sig, it has to be the best handgun I have ever owned.

Are sigs left hand friendly. I was looking at HK because of the slide lock and magazine release on both sides. And there is no safety but I am sure if there was it would be on both sides too. Do sigs have any of these features for us left handed people? I still need a 9mm sometime in the future and would look into sigs if they do

Well I picked up my HK today and its even better looking than I remember. The trigger pull on the DA is a little tough and long but that is what I wanted and the trigger pull on the SA is short and light. I bet it will be a great and accurate shooter. I cant wait to shoot it this Saturday. The place I picked up my gun from was going out of business and had a sale so I picked up a box of zombie ammo for $19 out the door. I will give you a range report after I shoot it but so far I am very pleased with the gun.

I carry an HK USPc .45 daily and I think you made a great trade. In your original post you were also considering a Kimber. I think that you may enjoy owning both.
