Man oh man, nice snag GMONEY. When is your pick-up date and where? Don't be surprised if some of us appear when you pick it up and physically escort you to the range to ensure that we get to try it.

Please make sure that you post your evaluation of this pistol. You may just be the pathfinder for this, we hang on your every word.

How did it get into to California so it could be PPT'd?

Rancher, i'd like to know too

correct me if I am wrong, but I thought I heard that Kimber has no desire to pass the RCP on the California DOJ approved handgun list.

LEO most likely. Or maybe even more likely someone moved into state with it.

Default Excellent Grab

I agree - WOWy-ZOWy Very Nice. One needs to be in the right place at the truly right time to get a gold nugget like this in CA. The rest of us get the standard production shooters nothing as sexy as this - but the CDPs we can get are pretty sweet in their own right.
Hope this is a cool companion of yours for many a year to come.

I knew it came in from out of state. No chief will write a letter for that gun for duty use.

Query: So... to get an out of state gun in the OC... an leo has to have a letter from the chief to order the gun? or just to skirt the IcanttakeithomesoIhavetogotothegunstoretodroolonit andplaywithit10day waiting period?

The gun shop I normally deal with just wants to see my ID... that's how I got my para tac-five...just ordered it...

What frosted my shorts though was that a company had one for almost 100 bucks cheaper but wouldn't sell it to a cal. leo without a letter on letter head... the gun store and another wholesaler had it in the shop in 2 days...just asking as I wasn't sure if there was some sort of special rule that hadn't made it to Kern County yet via snail mail...pony express whatever..
