Default Looking for a smaller gun

My current main carry is H&K USP Compact. I'm looking for something a little smaller (in .45) that will conceal a little better. 99.9% of the time I don't have an issue with my H&K but just want to have another option. Thanks for any recommendations.

Something like this?

Sorry, just happen to be my first thought. If you are not GLOCK averse, you could try the Model 36.

I don't think "Noisy Crickets" are on the CAL-DOJ approved list

I keep hearing great things about Kimbers, just haven't lured to that side of the force yet. I speak with absolutely no experience in the matter as I have not had the pleasure of trying one yet.

I've carried the Ultra CDP II all day (including the usual couple hours or so of driving) in that MS VM II in the picture above. Very comfortable.

Just curious - how do you carry the HK? What's the issue that 0.1% of the time? Width? Grip length?

At your body size, the Ultra CDP will be easy to conceal. Plus, it is light.

IWB (CTAC). Choice of attire is the issue. I spend quite a bit of time at the beach, I just don't always feel comfortable carrying a gun of that size while there.

You might have to move up to board shorts - it's not speedo weather any more.

Lucky for me I know "A Guy". Are you (or anyone else for that matter) going to be down at OT in the next few weeks and wouldn't mind me putting a few rounds down range with one?

Also CCWI, my schedule (as you know) is much freer of late so I'm going to start doing some classes. WOOHOO!!!! Looking very forward to it.
