Haven't seen that in the Sacramento area, but I wouldn't rule it out. Especially now that LEAD has been outlawed. Next on the list will be dirty burning powders.

Thanks. I will check it out.

The boxes I have are black, say black talon and are packed 20 per. I think I got them in LA in the early 90's.

I have read of some ranges that ban the Blazer alum ammo, because they want to steal your brass and resell it, if you shoot alum ammo, they don't get your spent brass. Bet they would love your Blazer brass ammo though, call and ask!

Just called Target Masters in Milpitas, they do not allow Blazer ammo. I thought that they always asked prior to shooting when I brought my own ammo in. They do not want the Aluminum casings at their range, has to be brass. The Blazer .22 may be OK, just picked up a box of 525 for $12.99 at Big 5, but just to make sure, I'll put it in some old CCI Mini Mag boxes that I have.

Blazer has both brass and aluminum. Brass is about $2 more than aluminum depending on sales it could be same.

I know the Firing Line doesn't like the Blazer aluminum ammo. I bought some Blazer alum ammo at Turners for use up in the mountains. The cashier at Turners asked me if I was going to the Firing Line and said no. He told me that the Firing Line asked Turners to let people know they can't bring that stuff to their range.

I mostly use WWB for target practice, but only when I can't find the Blazer Brass ammo.
