I don't know if this is true but I've heard about prosecutions in other states due to CCW holders *not* having night sights ... in other words, a prosecutor can argue that shooting in low light without the assistance of night sights is negligent.
Of course, they are only concerned with scoring convictions to get more promotions and pay raises, so if you have night sights, they can easily invent an argument as to why you should get convicted for having them.
As for me, I have night sights. I realize that if I ever have to use a gun (and I hope I don't), it may very well be in low light or at night and I need to be able to see my sights. I also think it's a good idea to do what the cops do and police departments generally have night sights.
In addition, I put the same sights on all of my guns, which makes life a LOT easier when you have the exact same sight picture on every gun!
