Default Shoping for a Kimber, whats a good price?

Everywhere I seem to go they are all the same price, today I decided to just stop by and look at the local sports supply store and they're having a 20% off all gun sale through this weekend.

Is 20% off the suggested retail price off a Kimber a good deal or are there better deals out there?? I'm looking at a Ultra Raptor II for $1170 - 20% = $936

Thanks!

- Joe

Some manufacturers mandate that any distributors/retailers that are permitted to sell their products price them within a specific price window, E.G. within plus or minus 20% of MSRP.

SureFire is one example I am aware of. I do not know if Kimber has similar requirements of it's distributors/retailers. This may be why all the prices seem to be similar at various retailers.

I do not have an FFL, nor do I work for a retailer that sells firearms, therefore I may be totally incorrect. If there are any FFLs or Kimber Dealers on the board, I'm sure one of them can validate/invalidate this information.

Thanks,

Buy it NOW! They need to do a 5,500.00 buy in before December. They are selling near cost to move the guns. Their cost is 861.00.

I'll do the math but are we missing a zero or two? I could buy 5500 worth myself.

Companies have a minimum buy in or a yearly total you must meet. Winchester Ammo requires a 50,000.00 opening order every year. Kimber, Benelli and others require things too.

I don't need to sell below cost to dump my opening order. Short answer is no.
