They are cute as heck, but overpriced and I always wait for version 2.0 when possible.

Well guys now look what you made me do. I was thinking about getting one and then I read about Kahr saying it was a mistake putting it on the list. So I called Nice shot a Kahr dealer and asked them about it and they said if it's on their list then they can sell it, and then they said they still had one left. So I jumped in my car and drove straight there and got it Oh man it is beautiful, such eye candy and she's all mine. Well on the 16th after 4:00 she is mine. I told them it looked like it was a little higher quality than my Bersa 380, you should have seen their faces "yeah by miles" they said. This is my second handgun ever jumping from a Bersa to a Kahr what a big step

Huh?

Does this mean that it isn't really on the list? That Kahr's going to stop send them to California?

I'm not sure go to Kahr's website and look at their main page and you will see a yellow box that said there was a mistake on listing P380 its actually another gun that comes out later this year. I dont know what that means I just know I bought one just in case they take it off the list or something.

Check out some of the recent chatter on Kahr talk.com and calguns. Supposedly some peoples DROS's has been cancelled. It's all messed up. But if you get to keep yours more power to you. I'm envious.

I was at Nice Shot today. The owner there was really pushing it, showing off the pocket holster they are having made for it. Totally trashed the Kel-Tec--"you get what you pay for." One of the other staff in there was busy trashing the .380 though, saying it won't penetrate a rib cage unless you use ball ammo, and says that the FBI says the same. AS to price, they are pretty much an MSRP shopbut there practice ammo is usually reasonably priced.

Well crap. Kahr guy apologized for what he told me before. It will have a mag disconnect and LCI. Here is the latest from this morning:

Only the KP38233 will be legal in CA as it will be the only one on the list. The KP3833 (older P380) won't be. I don't have an ETA on when that model will be in full production yet. Thanks

I just shot my P380 yesterday. It was so small a little bit different than I was use to. The range I bought mine from said they sold it to me, it's mine no matter what. So I must have lucked out or something because I get to pick mine up on the 16th. No magazine disconnect on mine, no safety on mine As soon as I heard about the mix up I tracked one down(the last one in town) and bought it. I am sure glad I did

Well, I have not found one yet. I've had a deposit on one for months. Sorry if you have already seen this (I had not), but here is a pic of the CA BS version.

Kahr Arms / .380 ACP Models / P380 Series

Somewhat new to this forum, but I was just at Nice Shot today, they got in 9 of them. The guy said 7 of them are sold already, but that means there are some left!

They just left me a message saying they should be looking at it next week and that if all was OK, it would be about 1 or 2 weeks before it would be put on the list. So hopefully there will be a CA DOJ approved Kahr P380 by the end of the month. Then I’ll just have to find the $$....then try to find one available…. then try to find some .380 ammo….etc.

Thanks for posting this. Neat looking little gun. I'll check it out in stores when it becomes available.
