I have arrived at the conclusion that if you kick the dogma out the door, the Glock 39 is today's best, smallest .45 platform.....Incoming!!!! 45GAP in sight!!! Need to keep looking at Kahrs....KP4544N...OK.
I owned the PM45 "bought used from LEO". To me just a little large to pocket carry. Once it crosses that threshold I like other options in 45's. Also mine was not very reliable. Stove piped on last round of mag with 2 different mags on a regular basis. I sold it with full disclosure the new owner was willing to send it back to Kahr to get it right. Not sure of the results since then. But again either way it was just a little too large for my intended purpose.

Yeah, that is part of the deal, when you go with .45ACP, everything is big. Just like those women we call BBW. One hell of a round!!! No pocket carry! Big butt gun

Default Kp4544n

I picked up my P45 last night and after a quick clean & lube, fired 100rds through it with 100% reliability. Amazing accuracy with the 3.64" barrel. It will never replace my PM9 for pocket, trail running etc. but will probably be my 50% CCW IWB, being light & .45 with 7 rds,,,,

The PM45 is definitely small enough for a pocket, but it's off list.

I looked at all the specs on a Glock 36 vs. a kp4544n and I think I would go with the Kahr if money is no object. It would be a IWB carry. I do not think the G36, or the PM45 or the P45 would be a good pocket gun. PM9 is as far as you are going to push it there.
Yes I like Glocks. G23, G27, G30sf. Never a problem!

I have a CW9 for carry and for the price it is great. I only had one ftf during the 200rd break in. But since then not a single malfunction. I pocket carry if i'm wearing shorts but in jeans I have to IWB. It is about the max size for pocket carry. CW9 is the way to go if you don't want to pay the full Kahr price tag.
