$92 for a 250rd box?
WOW! Last year I got one for $59...before elections. They are going the same way as gas - "Let's see how much we can stick the consumer before it blows up in our faces" sort of attitude. At this rate, and if AHHNOLD signs that horrible bill, we are all screwed in this nanny state we are stuck living in.

I saw the 250 round box of Remington UMC for $147. at a local Mom and Pop shop. Is the 250 round box your getting at Wally World to same stuff? Is this just at your local WW, or did the floor gates open at all of them?
You never know what to believe these days. One shop owner tells me it could be 1 1/2 to 2 years before the ammo shelves at well stocked once again. He said he heard Federal was 18 months back ordered. Then I read on the Internet that the "ammo hoarders" are almost stocked up to their satisfaction, so supply will soon catch up with demand. Who knows what to believe???? All I know is components are still hard to find for some items and what the locals are charging is ridiculous! I still have a backorder in from Cabela's from July for powder and primers. One shop in town wants $80. for a 1000 primers. The shops that haven't jacked the price, naturally don't have any to be found. I think Capitalism is great until I'm the one flipping the bill! ![]()

He said their warehouse is empty right now. What ever makes it in is shipped straight out and they won't let him buy any ammo until it is stocked up again in the warehouse. |

Reno and Carson City Wally Worlds have a few calibers of handgun and plenty of 223 and some other rifle ammo. They were beginning to get in more, but the sought after stuff is going out fast after it is stocked.

I have seen a lot more on the shelves here recently at the local shops, Have not been to WW in quit a while. I'll have to go to see soon. Maybe getting better as far as the 7am line goes now that most places are getting ammo in around here. Hard to beat WW prices thou.

I stopped going to Wally World
months ago because the only thng they ever had were a few boxes of rifles rounds and lots of shotgun shells. No 9. 40s. 45s. or even 22s.The next question is whether the prices will drop when the run ends. The last time I found some 100 rd boxes of CCI minimags (the only thing that feeds reliably in a Sig mosquito), they cost me $9 each. |

I went to WalMart yesterday. Lots of shotgun shells, so the ducks should be wary, and plenty of .270 and .308. Some HMRs and two boxes of 22-250. That was it. And my son just called me and said that Ahnold signed the damn ammo bill. There goes my practice budget.

Yep. So it will probably get harder. I watch the rest of the other guys waiting by the front door of Wallyworld, gathering at about 6:55 AM, waiting for the doors to open at 07:00 and off they go like a horse race.
Not everyone goes to sporting goods, but the usual suspects will go for it. Sometimes the ammo is not even on the shelves, still in boxes, so there goes my CRKT Crawford to work. Let's see what we got today!!! We, like good pirates share the loot....Ha,Har. Good Luck.

The .380 is essentially a 9 mm short. It is shorter than a .38. The Bersa Thunder and the Walther PPK are in .380. tiny little pocket pistols, only useful at point blank ranges. but then again, point blank is usually where things happen. Very concealable as a pocket pistol.

The round is also referred to as 9mm short, 9mm Kurz, 9x17mm. The Mrs is more comfortable with it and since it is smaller, the weapons can be more compact. The LCP is tiny...saw one at Ade's and it is sweet. ![]()
