Default Found .45 ACP ammo!

Handgun Ammunition

Ordered 500 rounds, got it-shot through about 50 of them last night, not one hickup. 170 Shipped for 500 .45ACP rounds, pretty satisfied with that price.
They also have .40 and 9mm.

Outdoor Marksman Outdoor Marksman - also has some .40 in stock, and they are pretty cheap for midwal reloads.

Do any of you guys reload? Just curious, because if you do, it makes things a lot easier, and cheaper.

Most Extractors on handguns were not designed to extract steel cases. Brass and Alum. is what they were designed for.

They made a lot of steel case hardball in the US during WWII. It was hard on extractors. I bet the Russian stuff is no different. If you shoot a lot of it you should get a spare extractor on order.

The indoor ranges I shoot at don't allow it either. Not to play Debby Downer but unless you are desperate I would wait for you local Walmart to stock brass cased. That price when you consider shipping is not really a great value either.

Thanks for posting the link though!

My range allows me to shoot steel cased bullets. And last time I bought .45acp I was paying 21 bucks plus shipping per 50. Do the math Now I'm not saying there are not good deals out there, but this is among the best I've found in the last year.

As far as the extractor goes, I had the same fear before I bought the ammo, I know it's a hot button issue-but I've heard more good than bad, and we'll see how it works out

PS If anyone sees 500 rounds of .45 ACP at less than 15 bucks per 50 let me know

IF and I mean IF Walmart gets it in $31.XX plus tax for 100 rounds of WWB.

Word is the pipes are starting to thaw and ammo is starting to show again on the Walmart shelves.

Anyway sorry to pipe in a negative when the OP is doing us a favor! Please don't let it stop anybody from posting good deals in the future.

Lot's of 223 and 45 colt up in the Reno Wallyworld and a few 40 cal. They have moved some accessories and shot gun ammo into the 'locked' case. When I first rounded the case it looked real full. After examining the contents I discovered it wasn't all rifle and pistol ammo.

This was late AM, so there may have been other ammo that had sold early.
