I found some Win Ranger T's at a online vendor. Its mainly an leo dealer, but they do sell to the public. Great prices as well. Thought I would share.......

Unfortunately they now make you certify you're a police officer and provide an agency phone number to buy Ranger-Ts. They have lost all of my business until they change their policy.

I thought cops get their ammo at their range! If so, why buy it?
Have you been a costumer of theirs for a while, or a recent one?

I'm sure where LEOs get their ammo depends on the agency, and believe it or not some really small agencies actually buy their supply from places like this and ammo to go. The ones that can't afford to buy by the pallet.

I came across this site when someone else posted a link here a couple of months ago. I checked with their local BBB and they had a good rating. Since then I've ordered ammo from them twice (including Ranger-Ts) and other gear a couple of other times. The LE requirement is new in the last few weeks. It may be pressure from Winchester who does not want it falling into the hands of the public. Or it may be because they are holding what they can get for LE. I know that Federal had planned to stop all shipments of HSTs to distributors and limit shipments of HSTs to agencies only. I'm not sure if that's still in effect, but believe it or not many agencies actually use Ranger-Ts and HSTs as everyday range fodder - another reason it's in short supply. Your tax dollars at work.

Anyway in my experience their online service has been a bit flaky - batting about 500 on getting my orders filled as expected or even notifying me in a timely manner that that ran out of something. On the other hand after an email or two they have always made things right. Bottom line I've continued doing business with them because they fed my ammo habit for a reasonable price. But if I can't get ammo from them then I'll go elsewhere for everything and not miss the flaky service.

I have bought from them as well in the past. I agree, lately they claim they have stuff to then tell you it is on back order. I use ammoengine.com now

I placed my order yesterday at about 3pm. I recieved an email at about 9am this morning with a tracking# and to say that my order has shipped. There's a box where they ask what agency your with when you place an order. They have a civillian/private citizen option so thats what I check. Has'nt been a problem so far.......

I'll give em a chance. Cases of Ranger 00B at $119.99 with free shipping-no tax. Sounds fair/beats local by a mile.
