By what I have been reading in the different gun boards, most people who own Bersas seem to be happy with the gun. I would not mind getting a Ruger LCP after we get rid of the infamous California DOJ roster of approved guns.
The problem with ammo availability for .380s have doomed that caliber, so far.

What's wrong with 45 auto? It has served out country very well for a century through a few major wars

I prefer to be one of the first two kind and to learn from others' mistakes.

After reading all the posts it sounds like you have what you need. I'll just add that I carry a .380 in the summer and a .40 in the winter. I can't and won't carry my .40 if It's not comfortable and in the summer it is not. As far as, "is it enough", who knows. What are you going to encounter? You don't know, I don't know. But I won't stand in front of a .380.

Here is a link to the buffalo bore web site for some stuff in stock (Hardcast LBT) they have an interesting take on why the offering of an LBT bullet in 380. They also have the gold dot (I don't know if it's in stock though) if you don't buy into the argument for an LBT over a hollow point for SD.

380 Auto +P Pistol & Handgun Ammunition

PS: Their stuff is expensive.

Default 380 will do in a pinch

I was watching COPS the other night. The killing arose out of an altercation, and the victim was shot once in the chest with a .380 at maybe 5 to 7 feet. He got maybe 20 feet before he died, and he was in bad shape the whole time.
