Default Any Reason not to Carry with a Conversion Barrel ?

OK:
Any Reason I should not Carry my G-23 with a 9mm Conversion Barrel ?
As you know, I was considering selling my G-23 for a G-19
Love the Glock, Just not warming up to a .40 cal.
My Local Sheriff Dept. says I can use the barrel, just need to put the Pistol on my Permit with the new caliber.
So far all I read is the Conversion Barrels run 100%, no Hickups.
So any Reason I should not do this ? As far as Reliability or Safety.

From all the information you have given I see no reason why not. Treat it like a new firearm and give it 500 rounds to make sure reliability is what you expect and you are comfortable with the set up. After that carry on and be happy!

BTW I have researched the conversion barrels in Glocks and from what I have read they do perform nicely. ;o

If it works 100% I don't see a reason why not.

As a matter of fact, I have my M&P40 on my permit and it is listed, under caliber, as a .40/.357/9mm - I like having options.

I have a Wolff conversion for my glock .40 to 9mm, and it's been 100%. You'll need new magazines though for best functioning, and *technically* the ejector is different, though in practice I haven't seen any issues with mine.
