So, the only real question ...... Hit Ratio and average time on the steel challenge was ..... ?

Congrats on CCW ... carry safe and remember, if you are required to shoot one shot in self-defense, you may as well get a couple more in, just limit the double taps or you'll appear too eager :-)

We shot four stages - Roundabout, Showdown, Accelerator and Smoke&Hope. I averaged one miss per string and 7.5 sec per string. Not my best but acceptable. Key point - you can never miss fast enough. I was the middle of the pack.

I like shooting steel or defensive since it creates stress the moment the buzzer goes off in your ear.

Thanks for the congrats

As a Cowboy Action Shooter I have also learned that there is no such thing as a target that is too big or too close to miss under stress.

Thanks,

Made my obligatory Wally World stroll today.

Carrying OWB and concealed by my vest. No nachos to be found in the house so I bought some Hoppes #9 (last bottle). No ammo except some 22lr and some shotgun shells available and not much of that. Went back to work. A totally uneventful time.

Yeah, but you can't drink Hoppes #9 (at least you shouldn't).
