Default Approved today

Had my meeting today at Mariposa County S/O was suprised to actually be interviewed the head man himself Sheriff Muller. When I got my CCW in Stanislaus County a few years ago there was no interview process. Sheriff Muller and all his staff were very nice and helpful. He approved my application just waiting for my fingerprints to come back. Being it is a holiday week I was told my permit will be ready to pick up next week.

Congrats!

Weird though, as here in Kern County it takes like 10 weeks to get your permit after paying the fees and getting fingerprinted. ???

Congrats. Good to hear the new Sheriff is carrying on with the former Sheriff's policy of issuance. The prior Sheriff is an awesome citizen. You guys are lucky to have such good Sheriffs; both present and former.

Not really, it doesn't take long to get the results back. Some departments just don't get to them as quickly as others. Sometimes it depends on the work load at the department. Mariposa is small enough and quieter than most, to be able to process more quickly.

I have ordered my criminal history from DOJ twice and both times it arrived in the mail in 2 days from the day of the live scan.

Is Muller issuing about the same as his predecessor? I remember Allan was quite free with the CCW's. You guys are very fortunate

Congrats! That's kinda how it went with me too, all the transfers and renewals went like that. I wish those guys in SoCal. could have the same experience.
