Issue: WAITING PERIODS STUDY BILL (Garrick)

Latest Info: 06/06/2007 - AB 1105 failed to make it out of the Public Safety Committee by the June 1st deadline and is now a "two-year bill". That means the bill cannot progress further in 2007, but will again become active after the legislature reconvenes in January, 2008.

Action needed: Join your local NRA Members' Council

Description: Existing law generally defines firearms for regulatory purpose. This bill would make technical, nonsubstantive changes to those provisions.

ANALYSIS:
NRA Introduced and Sponsored Bill. This bill will require the Department of Justice to complete a study identifing what actions would be required to reduce the waiting period for firearms transfers in California.
Sounds like a good bill to support, especially for some of you tramps.

The "Public Safety Committee" is the exact opposite of what it's name implies.

They are the poster children for why incumbents shouldn't be....
