My understanding is that if you are not a Clark County resident you have a 60 grace period to register your handguns, so if you aren't in the county for more than 60 days you are fine, if you stay longer, you have to register your handguns. For most people visiting they will be fine w/out registering.

If you are not a resident of Clark County, Nevada is allowed you have a load gun in your vehicle, not on a person, if you don't have Nevada ccw license.

But it is recommended, you have the blue card registration on your gun(s). So the LEO will recognize you are the gun owner that you carry your gun in the vehicle, if you show to the LEO your blue card.

I have the Nevada ccw. permit, which it required me to have the registration blue card on my guns.

PHM, before I have been visiting in Nevada and have no Nevada ccw license. I always load a gun in my vehicle without registration. But they recommended me to registration the blue card on your guns for safety your neck. Police will think I am committing a crime or stolen gun or whatever without the registration blue card, even tough if police found your gun in your vehicle.

I just received my Nevada renewal yesterday. I sent in for it on 10/5/07 through Storey Co. We have been in contact with the Storey Co. SD and they got it (or the background OK) a couple weeks prior to my actually receiving it in the mail.

I had been carrying on my Utah permit in the interm.

I am now looking forward to seeing Florida Concealed Weapon Permit, they were processing my paperwork since couple of weeks and so on. Hopefully approved ccw permit.
I finally got a new Florida CCW permit in mail.

I took my training from Semper Firearms too. I highly recommend them. Mike Motta was the instructor. They offer public and private classes and can even come to you for the classroom instruction.

This person has no idea what he is talking about. You are correct, that is the way he typed it.
