I wouldn't mind Nevada being different if I didn't have to drive to Nevada to get trained, tested, and my paperwork processed. The beauty of the Utah permit is that a trained instructor for the Utah permit could basically do everything you needed just about everywhere. I love Nevada but because I don't want to take a trip there just to do a class then come in another day to submit the paperwork, I'm not going as often. I wish there was nationwide reciprocity of permits.

I know of a place where you can take the class and qualify on a Wed., then Thursday morining you go have your fingerprints taken, then off you go.....

Is it near Vegas or Laughlin?

The new non-res permits are good for 5 years as of Oct. of last year. Small bonus.
