Default Any updates on Orange County?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Just wanted to touch base. I hope all is well with you in the forum. I also hope your families and friends are safe and well. I was just wandering, It has been a few months since I have posted. Just wondering if we have had any new issuances of Orange County permits, and if any of the controversial revocations have been occuring? Just got confirmation of the new job and now I can submit for my GC and application. Wondering what you guys have seen lately.

Thanks in Advance

Respecftully'

Many permits were not renewed, many more have been denied outright, revocations have not been as numerous as expected (more revocations are expected if Sheriff Hutchens is elected next November) but many of those not revoked have been renewed with "course and scope of business" restrictions. It is much harder to get a CCW in Orange County now, and much harder to get one without restrictions. As of this moment, one pro-CCW candidate (Bill Hunt) is campaigning. It is expected that other candidates will emerge. The filing deadline to run for the office of Sheriff is in January.

I would suggest you submit your GC via email to CCWInstructor before you submit it to the Sheriff. He will review it and may offer you some word-smithing suggestions.

Any lawsuits in the works for those that were revoked early without cause?
