Waaahooooooo!!!!!!
Could'nt have been a better week. My wife and I were blessed with our first child last wed morning....As we were sitting in the room on thursday we recieved a call that our (wife and I) ccw's were ready to pick up! Today...the whole family (the three of us) headed down to the sheriffs dept to pick em up. I dont think anything could upset me today. Thanks to everyone on here for all of your help and advise...and a special thanks to John and Tami Popke of Weapons Training School in Sonora,Ca. They went way and above to accomodate my wife during her pregnancy and I would recommend them to anyone.
P.S....This is in Stanislaus County and I would be happy to give any advise I could to anyone planning on applying with them.....Ryan

Wow!! Congratulations on so many levels are in order. Only thing that could have made YOUR week better would have been a repeal of the assault weapons ban!

Congratulations!
A newborn child is a blessing to behold. That blue in the whites of their eyes is majic. We have had five gifts from heaven. And I will tell you, when I think of the first time they smiled at me, I cry. I also cried when they first played with their shadows.

Wow!
After all those wonderful expressions of congratulations, adding another seems a little weak. What else could I do? I guess I could send each of you a gift of $1,000,000, but, I don't know, that seems a little lame, too. I guess I'll just have to stick with another expression of congratulations so many times over. I can imagine Mary's response to the little one! PM sent.

Thank you all for the kind words. My parents and the hers say we dont know how lucky we are..... The baby sleeps all night, my wife has to wake her up to feed her every three hours...LOL.
QietPI, I forgot her name in the PM I sent ya....Mary is no longer with the sheriffs dept. She is the one who handled our apps and at that time told us she was taking leave to aid a family member who was ill. Connie is now the go-to lady for ccw's. Thank you all again.....Walmart here we come ....One big happy family sharring a plate of nachos...LOL It will be done.....Ryan
