Default Nevada County

Could it be that the happening in El Dorado County is trickling down to the neighboring counties?
We have a new Police Chief in Truckee who came from Santa Rosa I understand. When I took my renewal class, I was told by the local instructor that the new chief appear to be anti-CCW as he denied a few renewals upon taking his position as chief couple of months or so ago. Apparently these denied CCW holders made noises by writing to the CM and Sups. Final result, it was renewed.
A little apprehensive, I submitted my renewal, staff had me sign and thumb print the permit. In two weeks I received a call saying my permit is ready for pickup.

Good! Let's keep the pressure on them everywhere.

Congrats!!!!!

Yes we have to keep the pressure up and move the ball down the field one county at a time. The last thing we need is the ball rolling back at us!!!

Outstanding news. I gotta hunch the more rural counties that currently don't issue like Sonoma will be soon stepping in line.

My big concern is the Sheriff's election in Orange county. It's been pretty tough for our brothers down there.

My theory is if we can get counties like Orange back issuing, the whole process will accelerate and just maybe, in my lifetime, we'll see universal shall issue in California.

My concern too, there is one person running who appear to be pro-CCW (I said appear) but dont seem to get confirmed support from our OC brothers. Why not lesser of two evil if you can not find the right candidate?
