Default Investigation Results; Where Are They?

In BOS meetings I've watched, Hutch wiggled out of giving them answers to questions by saying that [a certain issue] was under investigation or that she was going to have [a certain issue] investigated.

Where are the results of the SpyCamGate investigation?.

Wasn't she also gonna have GestapoGate investigated?

These issues are pretty simple and should yield some pretty quick answers. After all, we're not talking about The Warren Commission here.

Has she ever notified the BOS of the results of her investigations or are they still ongoing?

They are all "internal investigations" involving "personnel matters" and so will never see the light of day. Especially since none were done.

You are mostly correct, the office of independent review (run by the OCSD) did one, and the OIA (internal affairs) did one, I was interviewed both times, and T52 is right, they will never see the light of day, real good whitewash job, they have TOP MEN working on it...

Thanks Sealbeach.

What a great ploy! Anyone from the BOS puts you on the spot w/an embarrassing question, she just calls an investigation. That way she instantly gets off the spot and never has to say anything about it in the future. Carona s/have called for investigations.

Anyone have any insight into how the Public Records request from the OCSD is coming along? I'm assuming that since lawyer letters were sent and we haven't heard anything, that it is going to the next stage what ever that is.

I believe I saw that the request, written by OCCCWS' lawyer to the sheriff & BOS, was answered by the county attorney w/a denial. It's here on the forum somewhere.

Correct, it is a sneaky strategy...she even spouted to the BOS about some PC that cites confidentiality for officers who are in an investigation. As if that is the end of the matter.

"They have TOP MEN working it, but since it's under investigation, they cannot discuss it further" right up there with being unable to remember anything, or just not being given the facts yet, or currently working on an executive summary (lines which hutch has pulled out of her hat on more than one occasion).

So much for transparency.

Sorry to bring second century Greek philosophers into this, but Sextus Empiricus seems to have captured my attitude towards this issue at the moment.

Isn't that the truth.

You made me choke on my coffee!

The first time I heard the term "Transparency" was when Hutch uttered it (we're a little bit behind the current trends here in Colo). Anyway, my first reaction to it was to say to myself "OK, here comes the BS." Then she kept using it & using it.

Now, whenever I hear someone use that term, I just laugh out loud.

Keep saying it over and over again and eventually someone will believe that it is true because they heard it before. Call it the rule of bovine scatology.

IIRC Obama had used the word in his campaign. Must be a politician thing.
