Oh, wait...they had a REASON to revoke his license...nevermind...

Doctors are held to a higher standard than the public in all areas. Ethics plays a very large part. BTW, the medical now bills the Dr. for the investigation sometimes running into double digit x 1000.

Even if you overlook the sleeping and showering part, he was stealing and selling stolen property. That's a crime for any of us.

I believe that IAmASensFan was juxtaposing the revocation of the doctor's license for 'cause' against the revocation of OC CCW's for no cause.

His point is well taken and the 'appointed sheriff' should take notice.

The Board for Geologists and Geophysicists also finds it difficult to revoke a properly issued license. There must be sufficient good cause to revoke, and it must be related to the practice of geology. There was a guy arrested and convicted for child molestation and they couldn't revoke his license because the crime wasn't related to geologic practice.

That must be pretty common. Though not to that extent.

For those holding a license to sell Securities (investments) you can get away with committing most misdemeanors and keep your license. As long as it does not involve money. If money was involved, you are toast.
