Method of Investigation
The Grand Jury has interviewed
County Supervisors and members
of the Sheriff’s Department.
Newspaper editorials and articles
have been read as well as the CCW
application form. The Penal Code
has been researched along with case
law and the opinion letter of the Attorney
General issued in 1977. The
CCW policies of San Diego, Los
Angeles, and Riverside Counties
have been reviewed and considered.
The most recent Federal
District Court decision dealing with
the Second Amendment and the
license issue has been analyzed and
considered.[/QUOTE

Please note that the methodology of this study is flawed as it indicates that no pro-ccw witnesses were called. One-sided BS

YD
I guess that the GJ decided not to review the policy of San Bernardino since it is contrary to the Sheriff's position.

FRONT PAGE of the Register. What a crock! All the antics of the last four months and this article makes the front page? Makes her look like the hero saving OC from crazy gun people. This makes me sick!

Kind of thinking along the same lines.

I just saw this in today's news:

LA sheriff could free 4,000 inmates due to budget

Reading this makes me very glad we have a decent sheriff up here in Humboldt County.
IIRC the state of Ca. is going to release 52,000 prisoners state wide because of over crowded conditions in the jails. I guess it is just not cushy enough in there.

I wonder how many early releases Sheriff Joe Arpaio processes due to "over crowded conditions" or budgetary concerns???????

I doubt he has any early releases. He puts them in tents and gives 'em pink underwear. Joe is my hero for taking care of business in the manner he does.
