Someone should say this at the BoS meeting.

Has anyone talked to the AG about this?
Since some folks think he's a friend of gun owners (I don't), and since the appointed sheriff got the DOJ to change their database (and apparently the law) it would seem to be an obvious thing to do.

Speaking of this change by the DOJ, nobody, and I mean no data processing organization, government or private industry, makes changes to operational applications without billing someone for their effort. All work must be accountable to a cost center.

It might be interesting to find out from DOJ, just who got the bill for the changes requested by "Hutch". My guess would be that the DOJ billed Orange County or the OCSD.

You may be on to something.

There already are 20,000 federal gun laws and regulations on the books. If those laws haven't made America safe by now, why should we think 20,001 laws will suffice?- Harry Brown, Libertarian

Since when has Jerry Brown ever been a friend to gun owners?

Seriously, OCCCWS needs to PRA the DOJ for ALL the correspondence & billing, related to the changes they made on behalf of OCSD's early expiration program.

If for no other reason than to show the voters what Hutch has cost them by imposing her will on decent, law abiding citizens.
