I would be VERY careful of what you post on this subject, considering we CCW'ers are battling her agenda in the BOS chambers every week. The public, which includes the NRA and the Orange County Sheriff staff and the entire world DO read this and could twist it to their advantage and backfire on all of us CCW holders.. We do not what to jeopardize what we are trying to accomplish for Orange County CCW holders.

I think this is a very bad idea at this time. What do all of you think?

OK, I see your point. I did email those links to the NRA hoping they will post it on their news site to show what she is doing.

I still think everyone should send complaints to the State Attorney General. She is getting out of control and drunk on power.

EXACTLY....

On the SAME DAY, at the SAME MEETING, she had 2 dozen uniformed and plain clothes deputies escorting her to and from the building, some of whom were used to question, search, shadow, and even FOLLOW INTO THE RESTROOMS people wearing pro CCW buttons, her deputies ALSO took over the security cameras in the chambers and used them to SPY ON THE PERSONAL NOTES of the supervisors who have been MOST CRITICAL OF HER ON THIS ISSUE.... WHAT AN INCREDIBLE COINCIDENCE!

I wonder how those supervisors would have found out about this invasion of their privacy had WE NOT FILED A PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST demanding they turn over the videos? Maybe NEVER? Maybe the OCSD would have continued spying on them until they had something REALLY politically embarrassing, and then let the supervisors know about it via a plain brown envelope?

THIS HAS GONE TOO FAR!

We waited 10 years to get rid of the last corrupt sheriff.... Theres no reason to wait this time.

What about impeachment?
Is it still considered too expensive and time consuming to impeach her and elect a new sheriff? Does anyone know of the process?

Also I was wondering about the security at the BOS chambers, is this normally provided by the sheriff's department? I ask this because it was mentioned a few times on other threads that they 'took over' the cameras.

I was curious who normally mans the cameras too. Good question.

There are OC deputies who NORMALLY man the cameras... They were pulled the morning of this meeting and replaced with Hilman's "Special Deputies".... This goes RIGHT BACK TO HILLMAN AND HE BELONGS TO HUTCHENS.

Absolutely. There's no way this deputy acted on his own initiative.
