Couple of thoughts on today's O.C. Register gun-related news. Its probably a rhetorical question but may I gently inquire if either of those two idiots who decided to do an "OK Corral" thing at the Toys 'R Us store in Palm Desert have [excuse me - had] a permit? God Forbid - this type of news coverage only feeds into the folks who would rather no one was legally armed. Also, Mr. Plaxico Burress [Super Bowl star and Wide-receiver for the N.Y. Giants] appears to have experienced an AD when going through an apparent disarming procedure at a New York night club Friday night. Is N.Y.. like the 'ol Dodge City [where you had to "check your guns at the door of the saloon"]?. Where are the stories in the media (outside of my NRA magazine) that chronicle proper and appropriate use(s) of firearms in defense of one's person? Any return thoughts?
