NRA trying to take credit for the 11/18 meeting

We already knew that headquarters was trying to take credit the day of the meeting.

Today three local councils stopped by our booth at the Gun Show to take credit too.

To the idiots that are doing that. Please supply a address where we can mail the 11,000.00 legal bill too. Then will give you some of the credit. 225 family friends from www.calccw.com showed up. 15 or so from calguns show up.

Just where you guys?

Yep. H. looked like a clown but that Michel guy was great; accurate, concise. He had Morelach (sp?) eating out of his hand. Michel made Mario look, er silly?

And speaking of Mario: What was he doing making an anti presentation? Isn't he supposed to be espousing his boss's line? Even Chairman Morelach made Mario look silly.

This is disgusting. The NRA will not get one more dollar from me. I will let my membership expire in 2010. Enough is enough.

I missed the 11/18 meeting. What happened? Why are there $11K in "legal fees" for the meeting? Can someone point me to the info or a link? I'll kick in some bucks when the proper link is posted!

So much for the NRA being a credible organization. It shows a side of them we did not want to see. Makes me wonder if this is what the anti-gun people were seeing.

I am a member and it bugs me they did this too.

I am not surprised the NRA reps did what they did. It was wrong to take credit for the efforts by those fully involved. They do have the numbers nationally though and just as we needed lots of folks to attend to show their support on this issue for the BOS, we need the NRA with their numbers nationally.

If we can figure out how to use any of their clout in local and state issues it could be of benefit. I don't always agree with their positions on issues but they are still the biggest organization (numbers) trying to help keep the anti's in check. The NRA is s large cumbersome organization, almost a necessary 'evil'.

You may have noticed several BOS members were very on top of a Power Power presented by "I am a Law Professor" Two of the 8 pages dealt with the first slide alone. This was done by professionals. Hence the Bill.

11,000 Doesn't even come close to what my bill would be....
