So How did it go at the meeting yesterday?
I was wondering. For all of you that attended the meeting with the new OC . any news? would like to start the process but things have seemed to get a bit messy.

I'm watching that meeting online - WOW the sheriff there is VERY anti-gun and won't back down!
Glad I don't live there. But I do hope all of our fellow CCW'ers get something out of it for our cause.

hoping we can just meet somewhere in the middle. you know. we don't want firearms to run around the streets and kill each other. the basis is for protection. period. NRA has done a good job. we'll see what happens

Congrats to everyone stepping forward and addressing the BOS. Your message got across regardless of the final outcome. I wish that I had heard all of the discussion. This afternoon, I only heard one pro sheriff comment and she was kinda weak.
FWIT - I think that you have a 3-2 board right now. Not too bad.

Oh. great.... here I was finishing my evening of browsing the M1911.org forum and came back to calccw... just getting ready to get to bed so that I could build up my strength for another day of fighting crime for truth justice and... the criminal court system.. or something like that... and here we have a gun just waiting to commit a crime!...
 Where is a cop when you need one..... Is there no safety left in the world....? Why that gun could just go off and do it right on the internet.....  Somebody call a politician please... something must be done....like I could sleep NOW....  LIke I should go to bed now and have nightmares of all of the violence that could be done whilst I slumber by this old crusty smith and wesson..... think he would take a 100.00 bucks for it?....
