A tip from my dad, who's seen a lot of groups lobby the LA city council:

Don't all sit together. Spread out around the room. That way, we look like at least some of us came on our own, and if someone says "anyone here in support of concealed carry for everyone, please stand" it looks like the entire room stands up. It can make it look like there's even more of us than there are.

"Norby intends to ask his colleagues on Nov. 18 to adopt a new county policy that would require the sheriff to renew all previously issued permits unless the holder committed a crime or misused the permit."

NOW YOU ALL KNOW WHY YOU NEED TO BE THERE!

I was surprised to see that he told that to the La Times reporter. Kinda let the cat out of the bag.

Has there been any response to this question? It is an interesting question. Is the concept of using tools to exercise rights (defending life and liberty, protecting property and obtaining safety) not kosher?

What is the definition of the term property? If the definition is "anything that is not a human specie", then does the constitution not grant us the right to acquire and possess any form of "property"?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

The above was copied from the California State Constitution. It looks to me
like the requirement for a CCW license might be unconstitutional. "and obtaining safety" would mean that I can CCW for my personal safety. Could someone enlighten me about this?

Thanks
There ya go.
