"Nighswonger said many of the current revocations listed their reason for having a concealed gun as "avid shooter."
Let me give you all a run down of business people who got the revoke letter and did not mention avid shooter. They also do not know retired Sheriff Mike Carona OR contributed money. BTW, I'm currently walking through all the comments in --> Sheriff begins taking away CCWs and bumping the "Recommend" count on all the positive comments. Every little bit helps.

This isn't going to change. I'd keep your fight going in the positive direction it has been rather then making comments about the good guys (RPO's). |

That rag of a sheriff smells an Obama victory, and she is feathering her political nest with law abiding permitee's cards.
Man, she looks like Pelosi in a uniform....hopefully she can come out here for an Leo convention, get drunk and thrown into sheriff Joe's tent city. She wouldn't make a pimple on his butt. Quote:
If I was in that occupation, I would start calling the sheriff dept. and asking for an officer to accompany me on every house call. Hang in there guys.... Last edited by Trailboss60 : 10-11-2008 at 10:12 PM. |

The exact same argument can be said for Judges and prosecutors, I see no difference between them as far as putting bad guys away. |

And 7-11 employee's don't work in buildings with armed officers, secured parking, all designed to protect them... |

I bet the violent crime rate against a 7-11 worker is higher than a police officer too. Lets face it, off duty, a police officer is rarely at any higher risk that any other person. I know its not PC to say this but its true, most off duty incidents have nothing to do with being a police officer. |
