Dangit. I already moved from LA County. Now I'm gonna have to move from LA County again. I'll try to wait until 2010 so I can cast my vote first....

Might this be a good item to write the BOS about? Budget overruns are very much something that should concern them.

Weellll, I bin following this fiasco not so much with the hilarity in DC but I am sad to see CDS (Corona Derangement Syndrome-everything the guy did is BAD AND MUST BE EXPUNGED) in fashion with the Baca wannabe.

Sorry guys. The forces of sanity and good are suffering reverses but into the breach we must continue.

Hope to see you all sometime at a range. Moving closer to Burro Canyon at the end of the month and hope to start doing IDPA at Chino in December.

I play poker with a bunch of OCSD deputies, last wednesday someone mentioned the inspections and most did not know about it yet. General opinion it is a big ^%&$ waste of time.

Ugggh, not with this group.

We did have a certain deputy who was involved in an on duty shooting last december. He went up against a knife in an apartment complex in Aliso Viejo. If you went to the Medal of Valor awards you know who it its.

He went the through the shooting in detail. it was an eye opener.

Maybe the SHEriff is going to try the Angel's renaming scheme next:

The Los Angeles Sheriff Department of Orange

After a while, she can just drop off the "Orange" part, figures nobody will notice.

Then she can even change the uniforms, maybe get a better deal on LASD gear and equipment.
