So my license expires in December. Do you guys think I should schedule an interview now or should I wait a little longer to see how this fizzles out?

Yes, schedule an appointment, NOW, don't wait until the last minute either. Things might change, but at least we are keeping demand level high.

You need to apply 45 to 90 days in advance.

Just got a call from a Doctor who has had a OC CCW for years. He transports Schedule III and IV drugs. Last name starts with a "A", he got the revoke letter too. I'm working with him, His should be easy.

It scares me that MD's are getting them too.

Truly! What more do they want for good cause? This man surely fits the new requirement of credible risk, especially if judges are still being issued just because they're judges.

Perhaps there be a lawsuit here. It seems to me to be a clear case of inequity.
If a sheriff has a strict policy of issuance upon evidence of a credible risk, then do all these judges with CCWs have a specific cause? If they truly are being issued CCWs because they simply are judges can this be discuvered and used in a lawsuit?

It has, in LA County. But nothing changed.

Alright guys, I'm going to call first thing tomorrow Morning and see if I can get through. Has anyone else had problems trying to call and hardly ever getting their calls answered or when you leave a message never getting a call back?

who are you calling?

Melissa is the one you want to talk to, she is the most helpful person ever! She is buried with work and i am sure if you left her a message, she will return your call when she has a chance.

In my case Melissa has been 100% on top of it. Every email gets answered promptly unless she is out of the office.

This girls deserves a raise!

I have to second that... She responds to emails usually the same day..and sometimes, within minutes! I can't get that to happen in my own firm!

Unfortunately, I think the current policy is designed to put her out of work completely.
