Default 8/11/08 OCSD new ccw policy is public

I'm not going to post that what is legal and what is illegal in her policy. Nor will I list her total lack of understanding State Penal Code, Federal law or court cases.

unbelievable. Vague for the "just cause". I dont think that is by accident either. it doesnt shock me. this lady is coming from the LASD with an elitist attitude. unfortunate since if she were to make this county a "shall issue" she would win by a landslide in 2010. very short sited decision from the selected-temporary sheriff.

Welcome to the Peoples Republic of Orange County. Was OC annexed by LA county?

But on the plus side, the new licenses are gonna be laminated and have your picture on them!

Sorry, that's not really funny.

Wow.

My CCW expires at the end of this month - my wife's expired last month.

New regs say renewal no less than 90 days PRIOR to expiration.... may apply...
Does that leave us out?

Didja check out the ammo restrictions on page 6, as well?

No, it does not. apply now. If you are inside that 90 day window, you need to apply NOW!

Default Did this say what I think it did?

License Restrictions
Item a.5

Did this say “Being under the influence of any medication or drug while armed.”

Ok, so if you are taking Lipitor, Metformin, Quinapril or even baby aspirin… your license is invalid?

I am just asking?

I can't wait to see what rabid anti gun nut they suggest as their psychological evaluator.

Yup...that is how a normal person would read it.

Default I take at least 2 of those and

it would be a real stretch to say I was under the influence of them. Even the listed side effects did not include intoxication or behaviour abnormalities.
