Default Orange County Sets a new County Record

At 11:00 AM today I was in the Ivory Tower having a meeting about CCW's and OCSD. The official count is 2,560 CCW's issued today. We are half way to the goal of 5,000. That puts Orange County as 6th highest issuing county.

More permits were issued in the last six months than any 12 months prior.

We are number one in the state for permits per square mile. 3.25 permits per Square Mile.

Keep up the good work!

That is an astounding number. That is almost double the 1287 number from less than two years ago. I am absolutely floored. I would have thought it would take two more years to reach that number.

I agree! Most people think permits can not be gotten in this state.

3.25/sq mile.... WOW... I am amazed. Statiscally, some of my neighbors must be carrying too

It's wierd... I already found out another parent in my girl's school recently got a CCW... with help from his forum. What are the odds!

Sounds like one well guarded school to me!

This is great! The momentum is going our way. I thought it had to be up there. Everytime recently when I have been at OCSD PSD there have been 2 or 3 others sititng there waiting for some kind of a CCW appointment. "you can tell by the name badges"

Jesus I didn't think the numbers would be that high. That is awsome! Where have you guys been all my life! Rock on OC. I'd love to see some crime statistics compared to the number of CCW's and counties.

CCWI...with some of the new appointments to UnderSheriff and Assistant Sheriff, I am assuming they share the same values as Sheriff Carona ?

It's one thing to work for a cause.
It's another to see results.

This is Really Good News! Thanx for the update Sir!

how do we get the retarded criminals and even dumber gangbangers to get wind of this news. Perhaps it will be the impetus for their exodus.

Or they will go to LA where they can find some easier targets!

Great News! I'm glad to have Sheriff Corona in OC.
