Tried getting this into the previous message, but my login timed out before I could save. Moderators, can the login timeout be changed? More accurately, the inactivity timer? Or perhaps an alert to advise of impending inactivity logout so it could be addressed?

When you log in, there is a little check box that is labelled "Remember me". Check that and it should solve the problem. It will also mean that you won't have to log in every time, unless you change computers or clear your cookies. If you are concenrned about someone else getting on the board from your computer (public computer, meddlesome kids, etc.), then you will need to log out at the end of your session.
